My Top 5 Reasons For You Quitting Alcohol

My Top 5 Reasons For You Quitting Alcohol

1) You will save money (a lot of money)

I don't think there is an easier way of wasting money than spending it on booze. That is why it is described as pissing it up the wall. We also lose our self control when we drink and this leads to us spending more money than we normally would, or worst still money that we cant afford to spend. Be honest with yourself, how many times have you woken up and the first thing you have thought of is how much you've spent?

Horrible isn't it? Exactly.

2) Weight Loss

Depending on how much you are drinking, you may well be piling on the pounds without noticing it. Alcohol is full of empty calories, and it is known to increase your appetite  at an alarming rate. Just  like spending money you haven't got, alcohol makes you throw away all of your inhibitions,  like dieting and giving up smoking. Your aims and goals come second when you have been on the demon drink and all the hard work you have put it gets flushed down the drain.

How many kebabs do you eat when you are not drinking?

3) Improve Your Health.

Alcohol is bad for you full stop. Apart from adding to your weight  it is bad for all of the organs in the body, especially the brain. Did you know that over time alcohol turns the brain into a sort of sponge? No. Well they are not going to put that into any of their polished adverts are they. Your skin suffers to, it becomes dehydrated and shrivelled  Have you seen the skin on the vagabonds in the park? Yes that's right bright orange and crinkly, this is due to liver damage and dehydration, you have been warned young lady with the  glowing skin, this could be you after too  many late nights out.

4) Improve Your Sleep

Are you having trouble sleeping? This could be down to alcohol. Its a misconception that alcohol promotes better sleep, in fact the opposite is true. Alcohol can help you to nod off, that is fair to say, but it interferes with the way that you function in your deep sleep (this is where you replenish your cells), you will be tossing and turning all night long. So the next time you are in work, feeling rough, remember the demon drink is to blame.

5)  Hangovers

Who likes hangovers? No one on this planet. Personally I cannot even stand the word hangover, it is a despicable word for  me, it makes me heave. I prefer to use the words self and harm, because that is what you have done when you have a hangover, you have self-harmed. Now this might sound a little over the top but I can assure you that it is not. If you know what Alcohol does to you then why do it? There is nothing worse than going to work with a hangover, or having to attend some sort of formal function, its soul destroying.

These are just some of the reasons why I stopped drinking alcohol, I have lots more, but I don't want to dwell on it. If you feel that you are drinking just for the sake of it, or you are over drinking, then you need to find something better to do. Make sure that you come back soon as I am going to be getting up close and personal and show you how I got to the brilliant zone in my life, and how you along with me can get there too, it easy.
